Welcome to my newest addition to the Kyoto Castle library. I've been toying with the origins of the character I created, The Sentinel, for quite some time now. I haven't quite decided who he is or in what era he inhabits. I've visualized Sentinel as a fallen angel, as a vampire hunter, and as a member of an elite protection force, just to name a few. The only thing I do know is that he is different. But then, that can be said about anyone's creations, can't it?

So without further ado, I invite you to read the first chapter of what I hope to be an ongoing tale that may wind up spanning time and space.
