Greetings and salutations. Allow me to introduce myself. I am The Sentinel and welcome you to Kyoto Castle, my sanctuary here within the expanse of cyberspace. I am greatly honoured that you have chosen to visit.

My original intention for Kyoto Castle was to be a repository in which to house a few of my short stories for your reading pleasure. I would like to think that if you don't like my stories, you would be the first to tell me. However, that being said, I don't get the time to write as often as I would like. I would like to have a new short story presented here as often as I can. But as we all know, sometimes life is what happens when you're busy making other plans.

In closing, I would like to acknowledge that Sentinel's Kyoto Castle would not be possible if not for the kind support and guidance of my dear friend Colleen from Illinois. Despite the fact that I nagged her death with endless questions and drove her partially mad in the process of creating Kyoto Castle, she helped me out tremendously with this site. I may have filled the rooms, but she provided the foundation upon which it all stands.
