What's New?!

3 March 2008:
Yes, here it is, yet another multi-month gap in updating the Castle. I keep telling myself that I'm going to do more here and I'm going to write more it would appear that it has been all for naught. Well, let's see what's been going on over the past seven months. Not much happened in September. In October, the only noteworthy thing was Hallowe'en, for which I dressed up as Batman. I'm also still waiting for the pictures from the Haunted Hallway I participated in from an acquaintance of mine. November was quiet until I started my leadership course, which took me all the way through to the beginning of February. Had three weeks off for the holidays which was great. The in-laws came down to visit for a week and a half and good times were had by all. Which brings us to March and here we are. I guess the least I can do is monthly updates but that also requires that I get some writing done. I have two weeks vacation coming up and since I'm not going anywhere, what better time to get some writing done. I know I've had some ideas bouncing around my skull for Sentinel Part III. I'll actually try writing this particular chapter on the computer instead of writing it out by hand first.

And that's my rambling for this entry. Until our paths cross again, peace and long life to you and yours and I hope you return soon.

14 October 2008:
Yes, you guessed it, another multi-month gap in updating the Castle. I actually have a good excuse this time. I moved from New Brunswick all the way to Alberta this summer. And if that wasn't enough, how about a four day trip to Las Vegas, followed by three weeks in the Northwest Territories? Needless to say, I've been bouncing around lately. Sentinel: Part III is still in the works, as are many things around the Castle. I'm beginning to discover that there just aren't enough hours in the day to do everything that I would like to. Balancing the desire to spend time with my lovely bride and the desire to do more writing, model building, and reading is not as easy as it would seem. But I can't complain because I am in a much happier place in my life than I have ever known.

And so that's it for October, for now. Until our paths cross again, peace and long life to you and yours and I hope you return soon.
